Since TikTok became a prominent aspect of urban culture, many have realized its potential to put songs in the spotlight and hype them up. Once this came out, some famous TikTokers wanted in on this trend. From amateurs to people who are even a little bit knowledgeable about music, everyone jumped on the bandwagon. <\/p>\n

They already have an enormous fan base from TikTok so making music that would be successful wouldn\u2019t be difficult, or so they thought. <\/p>\n
Although they\u2019re already famous on TikTok, that didn\u2019t mean people would automatically like their music. For example, Addison Rae, a TikToker with 88.7 million followers, who got fame by doing choreographed dances, released a single called \u201cObsessed.\u201d While the production of the instrumental was decent, the song wasn\u2019t received well by the general public when it came to the meaning and the lyrics. <\/p>\n
It gave people the idea that one could buy their way into the music industry while having little to no actual talent or skill. The ratio of views to likes was about three-to-one, showing that while many listened to it that didn\u2019t mean they liked it. <\/p>\n
The same can be said for Dixie D\u2019amelio, a TikToker with 57.5 million followers, who got famous from association with her more famous sister, who made a Pop song, \u201cBe Happy.\u201d Because she\u2019s so famous and rich, it\u2019s easy for her to gain access to good producers and such. Many thought the lyrics were shallow and as if she was trying to be faux depressed and edgy. It didn\u2019t come off in a good light, but it was catchy, to say the least. <\/p>\n
Unlike Addison and Dixie, Cole Chase Hudson, better known as Lil Huddy, is a TikToker with 32.2 million followers. He\u2019s also known for popularizing E-Boy fashion. He decided to take his whole career path in a different direction. Instead of being an Influencer, he was determined to be a full-fledged music artist. He would come out with a few singles before releasing his first album, \u201cTeenage Heartbreak.\u201d <\/p>\n
It\u2019s easy to tell that he put all his time and effort into making it. From the quality of the lyrics to the production and film, it was taken rather lightly in the public eye.<\/p>\n
Last but not least, Bella Poarch, a TikToker that accumulated 91.7 million followers from just making facial expressions. She then used this newfound fame to take music seriously. She came out with a hit single that got 419 million views and 11 million likes. Although not many people liked the way she became famous, it was evident that despite it, she was a hidden gem. The song had a good message, was produced well, and she\u2019s an overall talented singer. <\/p>\n
As more influencers rise to fame, there\u2019s a possibility of a skyrocket in future music careers that will be launched. At some point, everyone wanted to be a singer or a rapper when they were little. Now, getting there, is just a little less arduous if one starts as an influencer.<\/p>\n\n\n
