The team is looking forward to the rest of the season with the expectations of working on their personal records as well as team records but most importantly, their main goal is to enjoy their time doing what they love. \u201cThe team goal is to improve with every practice, every swim meet, and every day… but it\u2019s also important to enjoy these moments with everyone around us,\u201d said DBHS senior swimmer Meryem Demircan. Not only does the team want to succeed and enjoy this season, but they also want to see the rest of the DBHS teams enjoy their seasons as well. \u2018\u2019In general, I don\u2019t have many expectations for the season other than hoping everyone in Broward County participating has fun… My teammates as well as the coaches bring positive vibes to the team which makes doing the sport I love, all the more enjoyable,\u201d said Demircan. The Deerfield Beach High School\u2019s swim team is ecstatic to continue their streak starting with the two meets they excelled in. Their next swim meet starts at 4:00 p.m. on September 2nd at Nova High School, which can be found in the schedule on MaxPreps. Deerfield Beach High School encourages students, parents, and fans to come out and support the swim team at the upcoming meets throughout the season.
