The Deerfield Beach Bucks are Back on the Court 

Every sprint, every rep, every shot in preseason decides who controls the scoreboard in winter. As the 2025-2026 basketball season is around the corner, the bucks have been grinding on and off the court, battling tough workouts and doubting. After coming off a 10-9 record and 1-3 in there district the bucks are looking for vengeance this upcoming season. 

 “To have a well-determined focus team that’s all on the same page to win this year”. Senior Vasney Prospere said.  

Vasney is trying to say he wants a team that is all working towards the same goal as him and staying focused and well disciplined. Being mentally and physically locked in will play a big role in this upcoming season for the Bucks.

Something that stuck out was that Vasney said he can watch more film to improve his game and his basketball IQ. 

Also, another Senior Darryl Dumerjean has high expectations for the Bucks, stating, “We want to form a well-driven team that is looking forward to winning it all this year. A few record predictions for the Bucks are for them to go 24-0 this upcoming season! While the offseason grows shorter, the Bucks continue to grow as a team and develop a strong brotherhood.  The time is coming for the Bucks to show out and put on a show for their fans.
