Expectations for upcoming soccer season

It’s time again at DBHS for the girls’ and boys’ soccer teams to prepare for the upcoming season. Tryouts have a token place, and the players kick into their muscle memory. Some of the new players may feel the heat more than others, as for many, it’s their first time playing soccer.

“My expectations for the upcoming season are to develop a good team bond, make new friends, and have fun,” Sophomore Lauren Miller said a returning player from last season.

Since there are many new and inexperienced players, the girls are trying to light a spark and build team chemistry so they’re on fire this season. This bond will come in handy during the season.

“This season is going to be different from last season because we have a lot of new players and are going to have to do our best to work together,” sophomore Miller said.

With a new season comes new players, and new players lead to new experiences. These experiences will involve a lot of trial and error, but with the help of their teammates, this team will strive to achieve its goals.

With this season coming in hot and be here before we know it the bucks are working hard to prepare for the upcoming challenges that may come their way.
