Students are no longer allowed to bring backpacks to school. Along with large purses or beach bag-style purses are no longer permitted on campus. A small pouch may be allowed for personal hygiene items. Lunches may be brought in a clear disposable container or clear plastic bag.

Final exams will start on Thursday, May 29^th with eighth period test starting at 7:40 a.m. The four-days of exams will all be early release schedules for Deerfield Beach High with only two exams every day. The bell schedule with what exams are what days and time is posted on DeerfieldBeachHigh.net.

Students who want to purchase the 2025 Yearbook this week for cash can bring $95.00 in exact change until Thursday, May 29^th. All books can be picked up in room 267.

Registration for eligible students needing bus transportation in the 2025-2026 school year is available now. All students must complete the Register 2 Ride survey by next month’s deadline to be guaranteed a seat on the first day of school in August.

There is no after-school activity buses, so make sure to meet your bus before it rolls out of the parking lot at 2:45 p.m.

All 11^th graders must take their senior pictures with Cady to be in the 2026 yearbook and be part of the graduation slide show. Bookings are now open and August starts a very busy year, so ideally juniors should book their CADY session this summer. Class of 2026 members just need to go to cady.com/schedule to find a time and date that works for them.

Summer is almost here, and Unity 4 Teens is still open for registration. Do not miss epic field trips, fun activities, earning community service hours or just spending time with your friends while building a post-secondary resume.

Deerfield Beach will be concluding Unity 4 Teens tomorrow, May 28^th, but there will be no activity bus for transportation. Do not miss the End-of-Year Party with games, snacks, music, and good vibes.

Time is running out for underclassmen to submit their community service hours. All Broward School students are required to submit 40 service hours to graduate, those students that completed some this year should get any and all hours in by Friday, May 30^th to their school counselor for them to be processed.
