S.G.A. is planning a Black History Month Spirit Days for Deerfield students next week. Start mapping out your Culture Attire for Monday, February 24^th to show where you are from or Black Out Day on Tuesday, February 25^th now, as all days are posted on DBHS_.SGA instagram.

There is a bright orange list of seniors that were chosen randomly to take the N.A.E.P. Assessment tomorrow, February 21^st. Those listed on the trophy case in the main mall will report to Media Center or 240-Testing Center.

Girls’ Water Polo will also be traveling, though they are taking on Stoneman Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Coral Springs Aquatic Center’s pool deck today, February 20^th.

Cap and Gowns must be done through the Jostens’ website in order for seniors to participate in the May 30^th ceremony at Nova Southeastern University.

Grad Bash tickets are only being sold online through the e-store, no cash payments will be accepted. And time is running out as there is only two weeks left to purchase the $210.00 ticket. After seniors purchase their tickets they need to see Mrs. Hills in room 507 to pick up your permission slip.

Deerfield’s School Counselors have been meeting with students who completed their online course cards through Study Halls. Counselors will continue this month to meet with only 9^th through 11^th grade students who have already submitted their course selection cards through DeerfieldBeachHigh.net.

All seniors can be entered into a weekly raffle for an extra graduation ticket if the students show their have completed their FAFSA, Bright Futures, Butler or Broward Education Scholarship, Admission Letter of College Acceptance to the BRACE Advisor Ms. Cruz.

Students who are in 9^th through 11^th grade and are interested in taking a Dual Enrollment course at Broward College this summer need to complete all registration forms and required testing before the Thursday, March 13^th deadline. Qualified students must have at least an unweighted 3.0 grade point average and meet minimum testing scores.
