Students I.D. badges must be around everyone’s neck while on campus. If a student is not, send them to Student Affairs for a replacement.

The ESOL Department in collaboration with the International Welcome Center will be hosting a parent night on Wednesday, December 4^th at 5:00 p.m. in the Media Center. The program is for all parents who have a child in the ESOL program that need resources for both parents and students.

Deerfield is now starting their annual Toy Drive for patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. These donation of new, unused, unwrapped gifts help create a comfortable, healing environment year-round for special holiday and birthday celebrations and or end-of-treatment parties to celebrate significant milestones. Every contribution is priceless.

The B.C.P.S. Innovative Learning Department, and the Parent and Community Involvement Task Force will be hosting their next Parent University. The webinar: Tech Savvy and Ethical will provide tools for parents to help students navigate the digital world safely and effectively tomorrow, November 21^st, at 6:30 p.m.

The week after Thanksgiving, Deerfield Beach will be doing a Inclusive School Week to celebrate the progress that schools have made in providing a supportive and quality education. There will be different dress-up days starting with Monday, December 2^nd Mix Match to observe the diverse student population, including students who are marginalized due to disability, gender, socio-economic status, cultural heritage, language preference, and other factors.

Deerfield Beach’s Teen Center is hosting their last series for Fall Fridays this week. Any female Deerfield student can join Yoga 4 Change at the Teen Center on Friday, November 22^nd at 6:00 p.m. for a free session along with their female caregivers.

2024 Fall Break will take place on Monday, November 25^th for all Broward Schools. Students will be back on Deerfield’s campus the follow Monday, December 2^nd for a Scarlet Day.

D.B.H.S. will be offering Algebra 1 E.O.C. tutoring in room 235 today, November 20^th. This review session will be held after school from 2:45 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday.

Softball Varsity Conditioning has started for the Lady Bucks new and returning members. Those that would like to join the 2025 team should meet on the softball field today, November 20^th at 3:30 p.m. with athletic packets in hand or already filled with Ms. Hills.

Senior class is hosting their next Monthly “Senior Gathering” at Cinemark Bistro in Boca Raton on Friday, November 22^nd starting at 8:10 p.m. to watch Wicked the movie.

Class of 2025 members’ spots are limited and over 300 classmates have not taken their Senior Portraits with CADY. There is only 26 days until the Monday, December 16^th deadline so do not delay as without this tradition completed their will not be a celebration slide for you at the Graduation Ceremony.

Any 12^th grader who plans on participating in the commencement ceremony has to purchase their $30.00 Cap and Gown package through Jostens. This can be done through their online catalog posted on DeerfieldBeachHigh.net under Class of 2025 webpage.

Seniors can still purchase memory pages online. There are different sizes and layouts to look at. Any Class of 2025 member who purchases a full-page ad space will receive a 2025 Yearbook for Free.

ASVAB results from October are in for students, so representatives will be out to Deerfield’s campus on Monday, January 13^th to discuss the outcome with the testing students.

Broward College Application Day is tomorrow, November 21^st for those seniors that are interested in applying for B.C. Twelfth graders with a can stop by room 152 during A or B lunch to get help on the application process.

FAFSA Workshop and/or Bright Futures Scholarship application help is happening in the BRACE Office for those seniors who have questions. Next session will be Butler Scholarship that opens for Class of 2025 in two weeks.

First week of December will host Winter E.O.C. for students to meet their graduation requirements. A list of makeup tests for Wednesday, December 4^th will be posted in the main mall for students who need U.S. History, Biology, Geometry and/or Algebra One.
