The second day of Cheerleading’s Tryouts will be today, March 4^th with learning cheers and reviewing the dance routine. Any interested students should meet on Bailey’s field with their white t-shirts and black bottoms at 3:15 p.m.

The Boys Wrestling team placed within the top ten finish out of 36 teams at the Region 4 Championships this past weekend. Plus Christopher Coleman and Tyler Kelly are continuing on as they both qualified for the State Championships this weekend in Kissimmee.

Class of 2026 is setting up for their Off-Campus Senior Assassin to launch this week. Any twelfth grader that hasn’t deposited $5.00 cash into the jar but still want to participate must do it only during A and/or B lunch.

The first I.D. badge and lanyard are issued to all Deerfield students free of charge. Replacement I.D. badges will be $5.00 for the first permanent replacement which will be entered as a student obligation.

D.B.H.S. will be offering Geometry E.O.C. tutoring in room 527 today, March 4^th. This review session will be held after school from 2:45 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. every Wednesday.

The last day to purchase your 2026 Yearbook for $85.00 is during Spring Break on Saturday, March 21^st. The price will go up on the e-store in April.

Cheerleading’s Tryouts start at 3:15 p.m. today, March 4^th on Bailey’s Field. Any interested students should meet dressed in their white t-shirts and black bottoms to learn the cheer routine. Those who have not completed the required paperwork and have their athletic packets on file will not be allowed on the practice field.

All seniors and their guests attending the Diamond District Prom on Saturday, May 23^rd must submit their permission slips to Ms. Hills in room 507 after buying their $150.00 ticket or they will not be allowed into the Marriot Fort Lauderdale North the day of the event.

Those seniors who plan on participating in May’s commencement ceremony must purchase their Herff Jones’ Cap & Gowns right after Spring Break on Tuesday, March 31^st or they will not be allowed to walk across the stage at Nova Southeastern University.

Grad Nite tickets are being sold through the estore until next week, on Thursday, March 12^th but seniors need to stop by room 507 to pick up and return their permission slip to reserve their official seat on the bus.

Butler Scholarship is due next month for Class of 2026 so make sure you log on to DeerfieldBeachHigh.net to see print the required paperwork before the Wednesday, April 15^th deadline. All paperwork has to be submitted in hard copies to the front office.

Right after Spring Break on Tuesday, March 31^st the majority of the school will be testing so bells will be held until testing finishes. All 9^th and 10^th grade students will be FAST Writing testing while all 11^th graders and select 12^th grade students will have their In-School S.A.T. The locations are posted in the main mall’s trophy case.
