The senior earning an extra graduation ticket this week from the BRACE office is Roline Jean Baptiste. There is still time for any other class of 2025 members to submit post-secondary or scholarship plans to speak Ms. Cruz in room 152.

Civics exam make up testing starts today, April 14^th and those students listed should already be in testing room-240 or Media center. Teachers double-check your email from Ms. Wilson to see if you have a student that needs to be sent.

There are several seniors and juniors listed in the main mall A.C.T. testing tomorrow, April 15^th for the English/Reading Section. The bright orange list students will be in their testing location at 7:40 a.m. There are very few chances left for the Class of 2025 to meet their graduation requirements, so check the lists posted in the main mall.

Now is the time for students to clear their obligations before the school year ends. For returns of textbooks or library books, bring them to Mr. Snow in 216. Seniors this is important, as you will not be allowed to walk the stage in June if on the obligation list.

FAST E.L.A. P.M. 3 Tutoring will have their next session today, April 14^th after school. Students who would like aide on this graduation requirement can meet in room 158 at 2:50 p.m.

E.LL. camps will also take place today, April 14^th after school. E.L.A. will be in room 539 and Algebra 1 aide will be in room 238A starting at 3:00 p.m. and ending before the activity bus at 5:00 p.m.

Join in on the fun this week with a low-stake basketball game as the old school bucks take on the new bucks for a collaboration fundraiser between Deerfield’s Basketball Teams. Students can buy their $5.00 cash tickets now from Coach Van or Ms. Deese to attend the Staff verse Student Basketball game on Thursday, April 17^th. Tip-off will be at 4:00 p.m. in the gym..

There are one day left for the Class of 2025 to submit their community service hours. All seniors must submit any and all hours by tomorrow, April 15^th to their school counselor for them to be processed before the May 30^th graduation ceremony.

Butler Scholarship also has a hard deadline tomorrow, April 15^th for class of 2025 to apply for free money. All application papers have to be hand delivered to the Front Office by 2:30 p.m. next week.

Any 12^th grader who plans on participating in the May graduation ceremony has to purchase their $28.03 Cap and Gown package through Jostens. In order to make sure they are delivered for Cap & Gown Distribution seniors need to order them through the online catalog posted on DeerfieldBeachHigh.net before next week.

The Unity 4 Teens Youth Development Program will be offering 2025 Summer Program here on Deerfield’s campus starting Tuesday, June 17^th. Students can register for classes to help prepare for the future, such as career exploration and college readiness. All registration must be done through the link on the school’s website.

The last art club date will meet on Wednesday, April 16^th for a pizza party and all community service papers signed.

C.B.A. students will be given passes for the postponed N.T.H.S. induction ceremony on Thursday, April 17^th during B lunch. Lunch will be provided.

There is an A.C.T. N.C.R. scheduled for 11^th and 12^th graders that have not met the graduation requirements for testing. The aqua list is posted in the main mall for the Math Section that will be on Wednesday, April 16^th.

The Civics exam will have the second day of make-up testing on Thursday, April 17^th. Pink lists are already posted for U.S. Government students to check on the main mall’s trophy case.

Deerfield will be celebrating their Class of 2025 Destination Day on Thursday, May 1^st during both A and B lunches by the rotunda. Staff and seniors can support of post-secondary plans by wearing college and or military branches. Everyone should be taking pictures and sharing the celebration of graduation with using the DBHS Experience hashtag.
