Students do not just need an I.D. around their neck to enter a classroom, badges are also used for each student receiving a meal as they proceed through the breakfast/lunch line.

Broward County School will have no school for students on Friday March 21^st as it is a teacher-planning day for the third nine-week grades to be sent to B.C.P.S. officially ending the quarter.

Join the City of Deerfield Beach for Ignite, a free event to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and encourage help seeking at the Tigner Center every Friday starting April 4^th. There will be raffle prizes, dance, dinner, keynote speaker, resource fair and much more. Registration is required to attend but all students can do it online now with a parent at DFB.city/registration.

Saturday school is back in the month of April. Students can sign-up for Saturday E.O.C. Boot Camp for Biology and/or U.S. History Review starting on April 5^th. All tutoring will be in the science building at 9:00 a.m. for anyone that registers on/or before Tuesday, April 1^st.

FAST E.L.A. P.M. 3 Tutoring will have their next session today, March 19^th after school. Students who would like aide on this graduation requirement can meet in room 158 at 2:50 p.m.

D.B.H.S. will be offering Algebra 1 E.O.C. tutoring in room 235 today, March 19^th. This review session will be held after school from 2:45 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday.

The Free Neighborhood Market drive-thru will take place today, March 19^th at 2:45 p.m. by Beach House.

Wednesday, April 2^nd the majority of the school will be testing so bells will be held until testing finishes. All 9^th and 10^th grade students will be FAST Writing testing while 12^th grade students who are currently taking U.S. Government will have their Civics Exams. The locations are posted in the main mall’s trophy case including the 11^th grade students who need to make up the S.A.T. from earlier this month.

There will be no Driver’s Ed during Spring Break, including this Saturday, March 22^nd. Driver’s Ed will resume after the break on Saturday, April 5^th.

Those seniors who plan on participating in May’s commencement ceremony must purchase their Jostens Cap & Gowns before this Friday, March 21^st or they will not be allowed to walk across the stage at Nova Southeastern University.
