2025 Magnet Open House

Deerfield Beach High School’s International Baccalaureate Magnet Program, Cambridge and Communications/Broadcast Arts Magnet Program offer plenty of opportunities. We will be showcasing our award-winning Magnet Programs at our Open House on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Deerfield Beach High School Auditorium.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Magnet Program is a rigorous, internationally recognized college-preparatory curriculum for highly motivated students who aspire to become engaged global citizens. This comprehensive program emphasizes critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and community service, preparing students for success in any course of study at top universities and beyond.

Our Cambridge and Communications/Broadcast Arts Magnet Program provides a specialized curriculum for creative students passionate about content creation, video production, photography, sports broadcasting, graphic design, social media, yearbook, web design, film studies, TV studio operation, newsmagazine, and digital art.

Additionally, IB and Cambridge/CBA students have access to dual enrollment and early admissions options. Notably, over 90% of DBHS graduates receive scholarships for higher education, including awards through Bright Futures, the Butler Scholarship, and other independent programs. We look forward to seeing you there.
