DBHS boys volleyball expectation

As the DBHS boys’ volleyball team gear up for the 2025-2026 volleyball season, expectations have been set. With challenging games ahead, they are ready to train hard this season.

The challenges we all face as a team are that we all feel very strongly about the game itself, and that gets in the way, and we don’t always get along,” A boys volleyball player, Wendal Baxter, said.

With preseason comes a competitive drive that can lead to tense drills, practices, and conditioning. Nevertheless, these boys are ready to build chemistry before the first serve. To have a successful season, the DBHS boys’ volleyball team is focused on building its bond on the court.

“The team builds their chemistry by hanging out, playing beach volleyball, and doing stuff on and off the court,” Baxter said.

Preseason is demanding, but the team’s growing bond keeps them motivated. When they come together off the court, they develop on the court. The boys’ volleyball team spends time together outside of school, whether playing beach volleyball or hanging out. The trust they’re building will carry them through tough rallies, sets, games, and practices.

With preseason and team bonding, the Boys DBHS volleyball team is ready for what the season has to throw at them.
