Now You See Me, Now You Don’t

The closer you look, the less you see

The third movie in the “Now You See Me” series is scheduled for release on Friday, November 14, 2025. This installment features both familiar and new magicians, with the return of the original four—Daniel Atlas (Jessie Eisenberg), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher)—as they team up with a new generation. The main storyline centers on the Horsemen and their new allies as they take on a global criminal network.

In the first movie, the four original magicians are given a card at their own personal shows by someone called The Eye and are told to meet up to get their first mission. The Eye is essentially an old group of magicians who changed the world. The Horsemen go on multiple missions to avenge the leader of the Eye, who turned out to be an FBI agent working with them all along. In the second movie, the three originals, plus a new girl named Lula May (Lizzy Caplan), go on a mission that backfires, sending them to Macau, where they are stuck. Daniel Atlas was talking with the Eye, but it turned out to be the previous bad guy’s son. They make up a trick and defeat the enemy once more.

In the new movie, the story focuses on the original Horsemen teaming up with a younger group of magicians. The story introduces a diamond heist and a mission to defeat their latest villain, played by Rosamund Pike. Notably, Henley Reeves returns, while Lula May, the second movie’s new magician, does not appear. According to Adam Parker, a 12th grader at Deerfield Beach High, “I think the new movie won’t be as good as the other two, but it won’t be bad at all. I’m not upset about the new magicians, as it will make things less repetitive. My favorite movie is the first one.” The new magicians are played by Arianna Greenblat, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Myah Banton. Early fan reactions are positive, and this movie could establish a new storyline for the next generation of Horsemen.
