Expectations for girls’ basketball season  25-26 

As the Deerfield Beach High School Girls’ basketball team is preparing for this upcoming season, they are excited to get back on the court. Going 12-9 last season, this team is working on improving to be their best this season. Even with last year not being their best, this team is going into this season with a clear mind and with their heads held up high.

“Going into this season, some things that will be different are the Mental Focus and Confidence of the team,” Said Junior Ariana Lyons

In basketball and mostly any other sport, someone’s mental game and confidence are the most important things to become the best player you can be. These two things help you on and off the court. As this season approaches for the Lady Bucks, they will focus on working together as a team to improve to the best they can.

“Some expectations I have for this upcoming season for my team are to be the best we can be on the court, whether we are winning or losing,” Said junior Ariana Lyons

In all sports, you want to finish every game strong and play the best you can; this team is prepared for that. As this season comes closer to a start, they are working hard

As this season is coming up fast, you won’t want to miss out, so come on and give your support to your fellow Bucks.
