Recapping DBHS Track 

The 2024-2025 season was a remarkable chapter in Deerfield Beach High School’s storied track and field history. With determination, talent, and teamwork, the Bucks’ athletes made their mark across Florida, inspiring their school and community. From the very first meet, Deerfield Beach athletes showcased their speed and skill.

Standout sprinter Jaxson Jewell led the charge, blazing through the 100m and 200m races with 11.10 seconds and 22.68 seconds respectively personal bests that placed him among the top sprinters in the district. His explosive speed fueled the team’s confidence and set the tone for an exciting season. Meanwhile, versatile athletes excelled in multiple events. The long jump squad soared to impressive heights, with Deerfield Beach athletes achieving distances over 30 feet, earning accolades at regional meets.

The relay teams also shined, setting new school records and qualifying them as one of the best relay teams. And personal bests on the biggest stage. Beyond individual achievements, the season was characterized by a spirit of unity and perseverance. Coaches emphasized not just winning but also character, discipline, and sportsmanship. The team’s dedication inspired younger students and fostered a sense of pride within the school community.

With many athletes returning and impressive newcomers ready to step up, the future looks bright for Deerfield Beach track. The 2024-2025 season not only highlighted incredible talent but also set the foundation for continued growth and success in the seasons to come.
