Expectations for the 2024-2025 tennis season 

With the tennis season at Deerfield Beach underway, many players are excited to start the 2024-2025 season. With old and new faces, there are many expectations this season. The Bucks are working hard to reach many of their goals.   

“My expectation for this season is that we will have a lot of fun and hopefully win some matches against tough schools, “Senior Katie Hayes said   

With many players being new and wanting to try something new with friends and have fun, there is also that side of the game where it is time to get serious, especially during those matches where you must push yourself for every point.   

“I’m most excited for playing with my best friend and making more memories and also to give it my all with it being my last year,” Katie said  

Many players look forward to playing alongside their best friends and creating some of their last memories in high school. At the same time, those players know it is their final chance to put their all into this sport and to make the most out of every moment. For many seniors in or out of sports, this year is a mix of appreciation for the present and motivation to finish strong.   

With your fellow bucks working hard to play their best out on the court to meet their goals and expectations it would be great to come and cheer on their success.
