There are amazing goals, surprising wins, and emotional losses. Some teams that are not expected to win end up shocking everyone cause their can only be one, which makes it even more exciting. In the end, only one team gets to lift the trophy, but the World Cup is about more than just winning. It brings people from different countries together and gives them something to share and enjoy. Soccer helps connect people all over the world, which is why the World Cup is such an exciting and important event in sports.
