Girls Volleyball Recap 25-26 

Another season is in the books for the DBHS girls’ volleyball team. Ending the season by being third in their district and giving it their all in their last game. Though it was a difficult game, our lady bucks were giving it their all, showing up and showing out and putting to work what they’ve been practicing. With their mindset rising to the top, letting their setbacks be their setup for a comeback.

“The practices were filled with friendly fire, and the excitement and adrenaline before a game get me hyped,” Freshman Mia Belo said

In all sports, energy is a big part of how a team works. With the lady, but much of their success has come from the effort and hard work between all of them, as well as the energy they bring into their games and practices. Even when things didn’t go perfectly, they still tried their hardest together to face challenges head-on.

We’d give it our all every time we’d touch the court and wouldn’t let the other team intimidate us”. Freshman Mia said

The mindset of this team is how they stepped on the court with full effort. Even with the hard games that were neck and neck, they didn’t let this intimidate them. Their focus was to keep playing hard with confidence and not let a tough game get them down.

With this season at a close, this team is already preparing to come back better than ever. They are putting in hard work to better themselves and their team.
