Victory On The Field

Recap of Girls Softball 25’

As the Deerfield Beach High School softball girls are at the end of the season, they did not do as well as they thought they would, but in the end, they are still a happy team. Although the past seasons have been rough, they did not lose hope.

The Bucks faced many challenges, and it was hard to overcome them. They played against schools like Coral Springs Colts and Everglades. They put up a fight against them but were unable to take home the victory. The Deerfield Beach Bucks’ softball team learned valuable lessons and overcame their fears.

“Although we did not do well this year, I am grateful that we all have great bonds and support each other, so hopefully next time we do better,”  DBHS softball captain Yanelli Cruz said.

Even though they lost to other schools, they did take home some wins this year. They played off against Boyd Anderson, Buck’s softball team won by 18-10, and they also played against Blanche Ely, and the Deerfield Beach High School team won again by 18-3. All the team’s efforts in helping and supporting each other paid off, with all of them taking a win back home.

“This year we did not do the best, but we still have a long way to go and I am sure that the team is going to get better,” Coach Victor said

Even though this season did not go as they wanted it to, they are not giving up. As they supported and helped each other, they learned and experienced new things for the next time. The Bucks are planning to be the best team, and they are practicing very hard to achieve that.
